About Diane Wilson

Guardianship must be abolished. This draconian law strips human beings of their civil and humanitarian rights. It is used as a method to dispose of the elderly and disabled, steal their estates, and isolate them from their loved ones.

  1. I’m obviously searching the web for a similar story to my own. My grandmother has vascular dementia, she is a gentle sweet soul who likes to talk a lot. The staff at the care home obviously cant be bothered to keep repeating themselves to my talkative grandmother and as a result have managed to persuade her psychiatric doctor to give her a sedative… apparently to stop her from being anxious. She has been given Chlormetiozole morning and night and also on a prn basis. My grandmother is now like a walking corpse. It is so sad to see, she is more confused and disorientated than ever, regularly vomits, hardly talks she is like a zombie. I am so annoyed and have now lost all faith in the care system and NHS. How can they get away with doing this to old people. stripping them of their whole personality and soul. She has been on this medication since the middle of last year. All I can say is that they are cruel and have no heart or no real consideration for these poor old folk. Its just sick.
